About these guides

These guides are written and maintained by the maker of the Irish Sole Trader Tax Kit and the Job Hunt Command Center, two spreadsheet templates sold on Payhip. That's how the site is funded. Links to the templates are labelled, and every guide is meant to be useful without buying anything.

How we write the tax guides

Figures come from Revenue's published material: the 2025 Form 11, the Pay and File guide, rates pages and eBriefs, plus gov.ie budget documents. Worked examples are calculated with the standard credits and rate bands stated on each page. We aren't accountants, and nothing here is tax advice. We're not affiliated with the Revenue Commissioners.
